At KwaThabisile Bush Retreat, we pride ourselves on gourmet cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere, and breathtaking scenery — the perfect combination for productive meetings, workshops, and team-building sessions.

Our facilities cater to small press conferences, product launches, corporate meetings, and team-building retreats, while still allowing flexibility for self-catering or your preferred caterer.

    • 30 delegates in a U-shape layout
    • 64 delegates in a schoolroom layout
    • Circular tables for 8-seater arrangements also available
  • Breakaway spaces: Terrace, poolside, and bush gardens for informal gatherings, cocktails, and networking
  • Conferencing equipment: 2 flipcharts, stationery, a large whiteboard, screen, and Proxima projector. Mid-morning and afternoon tea available on request
  • Additional facilities: Communal TV room, swimming pool, 24-hour security, backup generator, full Vodacom signal (MTN weaker)

Catering

While KwaThabisile is primarily self-catering, we offer custom meal options for groups booking exclusively. Guests are also welcome to bring their own preferred caterer.

Our meals are a celebration of South African culinary culture, combining inspired cuisine with the experience of dining outdoors in the African bush. Breakfasts can be served in your room or poolside overlooking the Leeuwkloof Valley. Candlelit dinners by a crackling log fire under the African sky offer an unforgettable experience.

Menus are seasonal and creative, reflecting available ingredients and the chef’s inspiration. We can also recommend local restaurants in Cullinan Historical Village (20 km) and nearby areas.

Conference Packages & Rates

  • Day Conference Package: R 165 per person (includes mid-morning & afternoon tea with lunch)
  • 24-Hour Conference Package: Sharing: R 1,100 | Single: R 900 (includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and teas)
  • Venue Hire for Functions: R 150 per person (Sunday midday – Thursday late), minimum 20 pax

Optional extras: Firewood (R 20), starter packs (R 10), game drives (R 300/person, R 200/child under 12), additional bed (R 345)

Additional Information: Full taxes included, generator backup, game fence and electric gate with beams
